For the past five years, Pharos has proudly partnered with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society® to raise funds for the Rochester Light the Night event. This powerful collaboration serves as a beacon of hope, funding cancer research and offering support to patients and their families.

A personal commitment

Pharos’ involvement in the Light the Night fundraiser was initiated by a former colleague who has valiantly battled Multiple Myeloma, an incurable blood cancer. Over the past few years, our dedicated employees have played a pivotal role in making generous contributions towards the Remission Possible team fundraiser, started by our former colleague, who is now in remission. With the combined efforts of Pharos and its employees, an impressive $24K was raised this year.

Joining hands, lighting hearts

Last Friday, our Rochester team stood shoulder to shoulder with survivors and patients at the Light the Night Walk event. It was a momentous occasion that symbolizes not only our collective determination but also serves as a vivid reminder of the strength that unites us. Our team of volunteers distributed lanterns at a ceremony commemorating those who lost their battle with blood cancer. A multitude of lanterns were illuminated later in the evening, creating a powerful visual representation of the community’s collective support.

Empowered by a legacy of progress

Since its inception, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society® has revolutionized possibilities for blood cancer patients. With over $1.5 billion invested in research and a track record of advancing 85% of all approved blood cancer treatments since 2017, LLS is at the forefront of the battle against these formidable diseases.

Uniting for a brighter future

Pharos proudly stands with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society®, committed to illuminating the path towards a cancer-free world. Our combined efforts in support of the Rochester event exemplify a collective determination to make a lasting impact.
