Pharos offers print accounting through Uniprint® and copy accounting through Off-The-Glass®. Together they provide a complete picture of network printing and copying in your library.
For each print and copy job, Pharos software tracks the device that processed the job, the job cost, number of pages, color vs. B&W, etc. For every printer, copier, and multifunction printer, the system reports volumes on an hourly, weekly, and monthly basis. This utilization data can be used to make fact-based decisions about adding, removing, and relocating equipment.
Pharos software also tracks print jobs that were submitted but never printed. This includes jobs that users deleted at a Pharos user interface station (iMFP or Omega PS200) because they decided that they didn't need to print them. It also includes jobs that Uniprint deleted because their time limit had expired. (Your library defines the length of time that jobs are permitted to sit in the print queue.) Uniprint reports the page volume and associated cost savings for both kinds of deleted jobs, providing a measure of your waste savings from unprinted documents.
