Pharos Uniprint® allows you to charge for network printing in the library to recover costs and reduce unnecessary printing. Adding Off-The-Glass® allows you to extend cost recovery and waste reduction to copying.

You can charge patrons for every page they print/copy, or if you wish, provide them with a free printing/copying quota and start charging only after they use it up.

Before printing a job, Uniprint displays the user’s account balance and the cost of each print request. Jobs are printed only if there are sufficient funds available to pay for them — and copy jobs are stopped in real time as soon as funds run out.
