Uniprint 7.2 Hot Fix 9

Pre-install

This Hot Fix is compatible with the 7.2 release of Uniprint.

Installation

This Hot Fix applies to the Pharos Reports application, and should be applied to all PCs where Pharos Reports is installed.

To apply this Hot Fix:

  1. Close the Reports application if it is open.
  2. Copy the supplied Reports.exe executable to the Pharos\bin directory, overwriting the existing file.
  3. Copy all supplied *.rpt files to the Pharos\Reports\Standard directory, overwriting the existing files.

After applying this update, the Reports application's version number will be 7.2.4277.

Details

This Hot Fix addresses the following issue:

Pharos Reports would only display if the Pharos Database was named 'pharos'; if the database was not named 'pharos', when attempting to view reports the following error message would be displayed:

"Failed to retrieve data from the database. Database Vendor Code: 916."

The application of this Hot Fix ensures that Pharos Reports works correctly whatever the name of the Pharos Database.
