Pre-install

This Hot Fix is compatible with the 6.1, 7.0 and 7.1 releases of Pharos.


Installation

This Hot Fix applies to the SignUp Nerve Center, and should be applied to the IIS Server running the SignUp Web Components.

To apply this Hot Fix:
  1. Stop the World Wide Web Publishing service.
  2. Copy the PSDomain.dll file to the Pharos\bin directory, overwriting the existing file.
  3. Restart the Pharos World Wide Web Publishing service.

After applying this update, the PSDomain.dll's version number will be 7.1.4013.

Details

This Hot Fix addresses the following issues:

  • The IIS Server could regularly display an error message: "COM Surrogate encountered an error and needed to close". The application of this Hot Fix will ensure these error messages no longer occur.
  • Under certain conditions it was possible for the Nerve Center to encounter problems if more than one copy of the Nerve Center was opened at a time. This Hot Fix ensures that multiple copies of the Nerve Center can be used simultaneously.
