Intercard POS Link card reader logon DLL configuration setting:

We suggest that the supervisor ensures the card reader cannot be turned off e.g. by covering the on/off switch.  If the card reader is turned off and turned on again the card will be ejected and the user may receive free printing.

If the card reader can be turned off, the supervisor must check “Power can be turned off” on the configuration dialog form. This means that a user printing multiple jobs will be required to insert their card for each print job because the card will be ejected at the end of each job.
