The Danyl Chip Card Reader
Logon DLL supports the Danyl smart card reader. The DLL returns a card balance
and four-digit Site Code for tracking, but no individual ID. The DLL cannot
tell the difference between cash cards and unit cards.
The Danyl smart card reader must have the AUX (i.e. serial) interface option.

This diagram views the card reader connector from the rear.
Wiring specifications previous to build X.XX.0003 caused intermittent failure of the Danyl Chip Logon DLL. The Card Reader ground (Pin 6) was connected to the PC’s RTS line (Pin 7). New wiring specification corrects the problem but the DanylChip.dll is compatible with both previous and new cable wiring specifications.
