The CSD PC-EFTPOS Client
must be installed on the same machine where the PHAROS Station will run.
For Windows NT, the CSD
PC-EFTPOS client can be started from Control Panel/Services.
For detailed information of
CSD PC-EFTPOS system installation, check web site http://www.dps.co.nz/.
2. Select the PHAROS Station context.
3. Click the name of the PHAROS Station that needs to be
configured.
4. Select the General Tab in the
Properties Window.
5. Choose 'CSD Bank' in the Bank
property field.

a) To create a debug log file, click to
check the box on the left of 'Do
Logging', otherwise leave unchecked.
b) If the receipt printer automatically
cuts the receipts, check the box on the left of
'Cut Receipt Automatically', otherwise leave unchecked.
c) If the PHAROS Station prints the receipts, leave
'Print Receipt Automatically' checked, otherwise uncheck the box.
d) If the PINPAD has been installed on
the station’s machine, leave 'Pinpad Installed' checked, otherwise
uncheck the box.
e) If the operator’s dialog boxes
should be displayed, leave 'Show Operator Dialogs' checked, otherwise
uncheck the box.
f) Input a timeout value between 10 and
99. The suggested value is 30 seconds. This timeout is the maximum amount of
time that the PIN Pad will wait for a reply from the EFTPOS system
a) Choose the Receipt Printer from the
drop-down list. The Receipt Printer must be the same as the printer that has
been configured for the CSD PC-EFTPOS system.
b) If a customized header or trailer is
to be printed on the receipts, check the corresponding 'Enable' box, and
input the text. To use the standard receipt, leave unchecked.
